General terms and conditions when purchasing through Dansk Møbelkunst’s online Book Store

Payment and delivery

We accept payment by VISA, MasterCard, Maestro and JCB

Payment on dmk.dk takes place via a secure server at NETS. The information given is encrypted – only the customer and NETS have access to the information.

The money is withdrawn when the order is shipped. No amount greater than what was approved by the customer when making the purchase can be deducted.

The following fees apply when paying by credit cards –

The fee covers the actual price we as a shop pay for NETS services. Dansk Møbelkunst (dmk.dk) pass on only the amount charged to us.

Prices are quoted in Euro and include free worldwide shipping.

Delivery

Delivery abroad takes place with FEDEX. Delivery within Denmark is conducted by the postal service

We ship without undue delay and in any event within 7 days of having received your order.

Complaints

If you receive a faulty item you must contact us at info@dmk.dk as soon as possible.

Your purchase is covered by the Sale of Goods Act which gives you a 2 year warranty starting from the date of receipt.

It is a requirement that the complaint is justified and that the defect is not caused by incorrect use of the product of other injurious behavior.

Depending on the specific situation your product will be replaced or refunded. When making a complaint please include your order number.

Cancellation

You have the right to regret a purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods to us.

To cancel an order you must e-mail us at info@dmk.dk before the cancellation period has expired.

The buyer is responsible for paying all costs associated with the return.

Returns must be made without undue delay and at the latest 14 days after the cancellation period.

When returning, you should make sure that the goods are securely wrapped. You are responsible for the goods until we receive it. Therefore, always keep your postal receipt/tracking number.

Repayment of money

We will refund all payments received from you for the relevant goods, including any delivery costs.

We reimburse without undue delay and in any event within 7 days from the date we receive the returned goods. We will carry out the reimbursement using the same means of payment you used for the initial transaction.

Please note – you can lose your right to a refund in whole or in part if:
You have actually taken the goods into use.
The goods has been damaged while you were responsible for it.
